Willie is the gardener at Springfield Elementary School. He is an angry Scot with a strong accent. He’s been at the school since the same years as Principal Skinner. He was initially hired as “Swimmer Willie”. After Skinner was trapped in the pool for three days, he appointed Willie as a gardener. On weekends and holidays, he also takes care of the greens at Springfield Glen Country Club, appropriately naming himself Greenskeeper Willie.
